Full Moon in Aries - Free Qi Flow & Yoga

When I was a young girl I would stare at the ‘face’ on the moon. I formed a friendship to this face. Perhaps because it always came back monthly when the moon was full. That connection never ceased. Every time there is a full moon I go outside and greet my old friend. And for a moment, I’m brought back to when I was a little girl. It always makes me pause in awe of its brilliance.
Every full moon gives us e the opportunity to pause and reflect and transform. Its motherly energies (the moon represents the female) asks us to go within and find out what we truly need and what we can let go of. To nurture our own souls. The October 1st Harvest Full Moon is in line with the theme of the Fall Equinox energy giving us an extra opportunity let go of the constant doing and pleasing others and turning that focus within.
This month’s Full Moon is in the fiery sign of Aries. Aries is the Solar Plexus in the Chakras. It is the energy of ‘I am’. When out of balance it can be bring about anger and frustration. It can also be passionate and motivating. If we use this energy wisely we can accomplish anything we set our minds too. However, we also must be aware of when the fire gets too high we may become angry or frustrated with ourselves and others.
Libra is the sign of balance and harmony, especially in relationships. It’s the ‘peacekeeper’. Aries & Libra are opposites on the astrological wheel - the Yin and Yang. They need each other to become truly balanced. Aries and Libras are both warriors of the Zodiac. Aries is the more agressive warrior and Libra the peaceful one. If we take a piece of the Aries energy and focus on the ‘I am’ and the Libra Energy of ‘peaceful’ we can merge the 2 and create a mantra
‘I am….peaceful’. You can use this mantra to remind yourself of staying centered and balanced in any situation.
Join me on October 1st for a Free Full Moon Circle. We’ll move through a Qi Gong flow honoring the moon and then do some reflective Yin poses. I will share reflective questions and finish with an oracle card reading. Click here to register: Full Moon Qi Flow & Yin
This full moon, find your center, find your balance and find your inner peace.
