Happy Spring!
Today marks the Spring Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere - a welcomed time when the sun shines brighter and the ground is stirring beneath us to gift us the beauty that comes with the season. Not only will Spring bring us an abundance of beautiful buds and greenery but a sense of rebirth and growth within us.
The energy around these seasonal transitions can be very powerful. The Sun (energy) is shining longer today, and the astrological energy is shifting to the sign of Aries (a fire sign that always has the energy to do so many things).
You may be sensing your own energetic shift and experiencing a desire for new beginnings. It is a great time to plant intentions for the months to come. Go within and ask yourself what it is you want to begin? What ideas have been stirring within you during the winter months?
The seasonal energy supports you and the changes you want to explore. Set the intentions to start something new, to journey on a new path and see where it may lead.
The Spring Equinox is a great time to pause and reflect upon your dreams and ideas that started to arise during the winter months. Take a few moments and think about some ways you can transition into something different and what that may be. If you don't know what that might be just set the intention to invite something new in your life and watch how the universe responds.
At the same time you want to notice if something is holding you back. Are you concerned that what you want to do may not be accepted by others, or that you need to learn a new skill. Would you rather not take the chance to bring new energy and passion into your life?
Another theme that surrounds this time of year is balance. Balance in in your life can take the form of how much you are doing vs. how much you are not doing. If we run around and are doing too much in our lives without much rest then we run the risk of burning out. If we don't do anything in our lives and just lay around waiting for something to occur then we run the risk of going down a road of potential sadness and depression. No one can tell you how to achieve balance or what that balance is. Only you know. Pause and ask yourself where you have been feeling out of balance. How can you bring balance into your life.
One way is to bring some connection to nature. Walking in nature can create space in your physical and mental landscape so that you can take a break from all the work you are doing AND get off the couch watching Netflix (which we all did during the winter months). Allow the growth happening around you stir the growth that can occur within you.
