Reiki Level 1 & 2 Training Overview

Being a Reiki Practitioner is life changing. There are various degrees of training. You begin by becoming a Level 1 Reiki Practitioner and can then progress to Level 2 and Master. Please note that my Reiki Level 1 & 2 are separate trainings. Reiki Level 1 is a pre-requisite to Level 2.

Once a person becomes a Level 1 practitioner, it is important to perform self-Reiki daily to become accustomed to the energy. It is a way of connecting with source and taking care of your body, mind and spirit.

First Degree-Level 1 (Shoden)

The first degree of Reiki is a life changing introduction to the Reiki energy. It is done with a series of 'placements' which aligns the student with the Reiki energy and enables them to channel Reiki to themselves, family, friends and even pets. Students are introduced to the Reiki principles, learn the history of Reiki, and how to perform Reiki on themselves with specific hand placements. The energy centers of the body, Chakras, are introduced and their significance in the healing process is taught. You will also learn how to tap into your own intuitive guidance.

This training last approx. 5 hours. By the end of training the student will have a proficient understanding of Reiki and will confidently be able to treat treat themselves and others.

Second Degree-Level 2 (Okuden)

During this level of training, students receive further attunements, which increases their vibration to a higher level. Reiki symbols are introduced and students are shown how to apply them, increasing their focus and intention while carrying out any treatments. Students are taught how to use their intuition and intention to heal. Students will also learn hand-placements for an in-person Reiki session.

Distance healing is also taught at this level. Students will have the ability to send Reiki to individuals and situations at a distance, in the past and into the future.

Students are also shown how to set up a Reiki practice. Including how to take good case histories from clients, using listening skills and empathy, and how to maintain this information with integrity and confidentiality.

All courses are delivered to a very high standard and are accompanied with full course notes. On completion of each course you will receive a certification and a copy of your Reiki lineage.

The cost of each level is $250 and includes a manual that is used for both levels.
